Our founding principal, Summer Fowler, brings 20 years of experience in Sustainable Design with an architectural background. She started ecoREAL in 2009 with the mission to make Green Building accessible to all with training, tools and integrative design process. Her Green Canary App is being utilized by owners, public agencies, architects and contractors to ensure all products in a building contribute to a healthy indoor environment. Green Canary has been built to bridge the gap between owner specifications to the boots on the ground from the lens of the architect—but in the language of the contractor to streamline the certification process and save costs.
